The Karingal St Laurence merger is taking shape, bolstering aged care, disability and employment services throughout the region. I visited last week to help create an upcoming advertising campaign, providing commercial photography in Geelong.
Already Geelong is home to a number of significant national community services with the local establishment of the NDIA, TAC and WorkSafe Victoria. The Karingal St Laurence merger increases the new entity's operating budget to more than a quarter of a billion dollars and expands its labour force of more than 2,800 employees.
That seems big business but it's servicing a growing demand, providing targeted employment services, community-based aged care, disability support, accommodation, residential aged care and respite services, mental healthcare, social housing and vocational training. By the sheer volume of people relying on the organisation for care, education and a livelihood, the union and its expanding reach into the community couldn’t come soon enough.
The Geelong Football Club, another client for whom I provide commercial photography in Geelong, announced a new partnership with Karingal St Laurence in March, focusing on the health and wellbeing of young adults.
The new advertising campaign, being produced by the creative staff at Escape Shift Geelong will profile a number of people in need of KSLs support.
Here's a number of behind the scenes takes from the campaign, including a sample of my commercial photography services for Karingal St Laurence.
