Here’s a brief look at a recent corporate photography shoot with the dedicated staff at the Women’s Cancer Foundation and our friends at Harness Racing Victoria.
Women’s cancer is attaining broader awareness as modern technologies advance research programs. But to many, ovarian cancer remains a silent killer.
Sadly, two-thirds of all women diagnosed with ovarian cancer today, will die within five years. The WCF is striving to make a change.
'A Night at the Trots', hosted by Harness Racing Victoria and Tabcorp Park is a key event where corporates, philanthropists, families and punters proudly wear teal and generously support the tireless efforts of some very talented medical researchers.
There are very few occasions I find reason to stop photographing – as a corporate photographer in Geelong and Melbourne it’s sort of my job to keep shooting… but a respectful silence was befitting when guests heard all too real accounts of tragic losses experienced by some families, retold through tears and fond memories.
If you want to support efforts to reduce the instances of women's cancer visit the WCF website.
